Fly Fishing For Sea Trout & Resident Brown Trout
It has taken me many years to get to grips with the elusive sea trout - known by many as sewin.
The largest sea trout to be taken by an angler in the past 20 years from the Norfolk Broads,
although caught quite by accident by a first time pike angler would you believe, stands at 23lb 6oz.
The massive sea trout was caught in January 06 with snow still laying on the ground!
A recently caught sea trout of around 4lber, put up a better fight for me than many of the 20lb plus Norfolk pike I have boated over the years!
If you fancy the challenge of catching a sea trout or resident brown trout from the Norfolk Broads, and believe me, it will be a challenge, please give me a call on 01603 714 352 to arrange a date.
During your day/evening out with me, you will use wet and dry flies.
Fly tackle supplied totally free of charge - but if you prefer to bring your own, that's fine with me.
If you fancy something a little different to fly fishing for trout, why not have a go at fly fishing for chub, perch or pike - i.e. from June 16th to March 14th.
I have caught some cracking chub on the fly to 6lb.
Personally, I love getting out deep into the countryside and stalking chub with my fly set-up.
I also love to fish weir pools where I can wade for resident brown trout and chub.
