How To Tie A Stop Knot

Take a length of line and place it next to your main line - i.e. where you require your stop knot.

Fold the length of line back on itself as above.

Take the longer end of the folded back piece of line and wrap it around the main line three times.

Thread the end of the line through the loop (top left), then carefully pull the two ends until the knot is nice and tight.

Cut surplus line to form a nice neat stop knot.
