Not many visiting anglers would associate the Norfolk Broads with carp, but there are some clonkers to be had - i.e. if you know where to look.
The river I've guided on for the last ten years, and fished for 20 years, holds some very big carp to well over 30lb - possibly over 40lb.
Any carp hooked by accident rarely ever gets landed/boated - such is their power! Most visiting anglers rarely ever fish stronger than 6lb bs line when fishing for bream.
As I have plenty of experience re. carp, I thought I would expand my Guided Pike Fishing Trips business and offer Carp Fishing Trips too - I can't guarentee that you'll a catch carp, but I'm sure you'll have fun trying.
I know exactly where to locate carp during June and July - after that, it's going to be hard work.
If you fancy having a go for the carp on the Norfolk Broads, give me a call to arrange a date.
